Key takeaways
- 1A 4-week program that trains CO₂ tolerance through short, scaled box-breathing sessions.
- 2Each session's interval is set from your latest BOLT score.
- 3BOLT retake at week 4 sets your next graduation.
- 4Foundational for anyone serious about breathwork — athletes, meditators, or general practice.
What it does
The CO₂ Capacity Builder raises your CO₂ tolerance over four weeks. Practically, that means longer comfortable exhales, longer breath holds, less air hunger during exertion, and better retention capacity for power breathing. It is the closest thing Auralize has to a foundational program.
How it works
You take a BOLT test to establish your starting level. The program then serves short daily box-breathing sessions with the interval set to your BOLT score. The sessions are short (5–10 minutes) but frequent (five to seven days per week). At the end of week four, you retake the BOLT and see the graduation.
Who it is for
Anyone whose BOLT is below where they want it. Athletes who want more efficient breathing at threshold. Meditators who find long exhales strain. Sleep-focused practitioners who want more comfortable nasal breathing at rest. Beginners who want a real training structure.
What to expect
Week 1 usually feels easy. Week 2 gets a bit harder as the interval grows. Weeks 3 and 4 are where the training happens. Typical improvement is 5–10 seconds on the retake BOLT — modest sounding, meaningful for downstream practice.
Prerequisites
You need a valid BOLT score to enrol. Take the BOLT first thing in the morning before food or exertion for the cleanest baseline.
