About Auralize

Editorial team & standards

How we source, review, and publish breathwork and physiology content.

Auralize publishes evidence-based content on breathwork, meditation, and the physiology of breath. Every article is written and reviewed by the Auralize editorial team to a single standard: every physiological claim must trace back to a primary peer-reviewed source, every protocol must be safe to follow, and every recommendation must distinguish between what the evidence supports and what is still under investigation.

We do not publish AI-generated medical or physiological claims, syndicate copy from other sources, or accept paid placements that influence editorial direction. Articles that reference techniques drawn from research (the physiological sigh from the Huberman lab, coherence breathing from heart-rate-variability literature, CO₂ tolerance from respiratory physiology) cite the original studies inline and link to PubMed or the publishing journal in the references section at the end of every post.

Editorial standards

  • Primary research first. Physiological claims cite peer-reviewed studies, not secondary blogs or social media.
  • Safety language. Every breathwork article notes contraindications, when not to use a technique, and when to consult a medical professional.
  • No medical advice. Auralize is an educational and training tool. We do not diagnose, treat, or replace medical care.
  • Transparent updates. When research evolves, articles are updated in place and the publication date is preserved alongside a modified date.
  • Independent of product. Editorial decisions are not driven by which Auralize features they promote — articles link to relevant in-app sessions only when they are genuinely the best next step.

Contributors
